The QK Champion initiative in December 2023 was particularly outstanding, in which our team, including operators and management, applied all of their knowledge and motivation to a selected vehicle. We documented all procedural and tool-specific topics.
New: Issues relating to ergonomics, safety and health were recorded by employees and managers, and measures were put in place. Out of 120 open items, 11 were related to safety and health, and 10 were completed successfully. In April 2024, we repeated this approach with another model and saw a sustainable improvement.

Station 13 Introduces Vacuum Filling System:
Significant Reduction in Coolant Spillages
Enhances Worker Safety
The problem faced was when filing engine coolant into vehicles at station 13, there would be a significant amount of coolant that spilled onto the floor during the process. A new vacuum filing system was initiated and implemented which has now significantly reduced the amount of spillages thereby reducing the risk of slips as well as skin irritations due to exposure of coolant and coolant splashing into the eyes.
