Progress in the
»ErgoChange« Program

We applied for the Golden Lion Award 2023 with ErgoChange and were selected from 120 applications for the next selection round.

  • Standards for ergonomic work equipment with workshop stools, scissor lift trucks, ladders with wide steps have been set and rolled out almost 100% in almost 140 service companies

  • Plant managers and works councils report a high level of acceptance of work equippment by employees (4.3 out of 5 points)

  • Cross-functional working group is established for the further development of ergonomic standards

  • Significant investment budget is approved for the procurement of exoskeletons after intensive objective and subjective evaluation

  • High visitor rates of ErgoVideos for plant managers, office workers, mechanics and warehouse workers (e.g. 560 visitors to the video Business Case Ergonomics)

  • Establishment of approx. 30 ErgoCoaches in approx. 30 service companies as drivers for the topic of ergonomics

In my opinion, the ErgoChange program provides valuable support for ergonomic work at the technical, organizational and personnel levels. The networking of all ergonomics topics in the ErgoChange program, the transparency of the information flow and the continuous adaptation and design to the needs of the areas are so well coordinated in terms of content, organization and implementation that I have rarely experienced in an ergonomics project. This innovative and comprehensive approach to ergonomics benefits all areas involved, promotes healthy working and is, in my opinion, an excellent example of successful company health management.
